In 1990, two guys restoring and building wooden boats got together and started MAS Epoxies. We wanted to build boats, not develop allergies to epoxy, so we set out to create a better epoxy. What we have formulated is a highly customizable line of epoxies with the best benefits in the industry:

• No Blush. Nobody likes washing and sanding between coats, and we found this was the biggest culprit of contact dermatitis. It was also a large contributor to paint failure. As a result, MAS is no-blush.
• Easy mix ratios: we ended up with a 2:1 mix ratio, and this we could even eyeball and get close enough. It minimized the screw-up factor. To make it even easier, we now have one-push pumps! MAS is simple to use.
• Blendable Hardeners. We wanted to be able to mix the hardeners - fast, medium, and slow - to make any speed we wanted. Our shop rarely stayed the same temperature, so we wanted to customize the speed of cure based on the ambient temperature. This makes MAS epoxies very convenient to use.
• Lower Viscosity: We required easier wet out of heavy fabrics and better saturation of wood fiber and core material - without cutting off brushes and having to stab the resin into the fabric or get rid of bubbles. MAS Low-Vis resin is the product of choice by top builders in many fields, and produces results no other epoxy can create!
• No VOC's. We knew that for healthier epoxies and safer shops, this was the only way to go. We wanted MAS to be safer to use, and it is!
