Well we pulled the mold off today!!! What a huge relief.............
Some of the black duratec pulled off of the epoxy fairing compound, but the mold is fine. Tomorrow we will be building the end supports to make the mold spin on its axis to facilitate ease of construction.
It looks like we are going to be able to keep the Freeman 33 as light or lighter than she was cold molded. We have been working with Alcan/Baltek on the laminate schedule, so you know a reputable company had their hands in on the construction.
Thanks to Charles, Mike, Paul, and Domingo for all their hard work and thanks to all of you for your support.
Cheers
Billy
