Bath Tub Rebuild

I replaced my steel bathtub with a wood frame with built in armrests and sloping backs. The floor is MDF under which I poured dense liquid foam that created a solid core to support it. I filled all screw and foam holes with filler, sanded, then laid down 6” cloth with regular resin, followed by coats of Flag. Before the last coat I dusted the bottom with industrial sand for a non-slip finish. After priming, I shot the tub with three coats of automotive acrylic enamel. This was my first fiberglass project and MAS made it easy! Thanks, - Ron
