Restoring the Bluenose II<br />
After 40 years, the Bluenose II is being restored by the Lunenberg Shipyard Alliance.  This and many other videos are available on youtube.com.  MAS is proud to be chosen as the epoxy for this project.

The Alliance was forged from Nova Scotia’s most experienced marine businesses.Covey Island Boatworks, builders of custom composite yachts for the world since 1979; Lunenburg Industrial Foundry & Engineering, a world famous foundry since 1891; and Snyder's Shipyard, builders of traditional wooden vessels since 1944.

Together, with over two centuries of combined marine experience, our team offers three railways and a travel lift to haul out, repair, service or build vessels up to 1,600 tonnes.

This team has worked together over the years on many projects including the award winning total restoration of the Bristol Channel pilot cutter Marguerite T and most recently the complete rebuild of Canada's iconic sailing ambassador Bluenose II using an innovative combination of modern and traditional techniques to create a stronger, safer vessel, built to ABS standards.
