Steve White, Brooklin Boatyard
Steve White, President of Brooklin Boatyard, located in Brooklin Maine, has been designing and building custom boats his entire life. He has used many products over the years and wanted to share how impressed he was with MAS Epoxy and how he saved thousands of dollars by using it for a recent custom boat project. The project was “Bequia” a 90 foot World Cruising Yawl designed by Stephens, Waring and White. One phase of the project required the coating of the beautiful interior wood planking with epoxy prior to the installation of framing and bulkheads. Steve planned 800 hours for this work based on the amount of time it took on a previous project. Steve factored into his labor costs the washing and sanding between coats required to remove the amine blush, a waxy coating that forms as many epoxy brands cure.

All epoxy systems are not the same!MAS Epoxies developed their non-blushing formula years ago to combat contact dermatitis, a skin sensitivity that can occur from repeated exposure to epoxy and amine blush. MAS Epoxies has always been pro-active re-engineering its formula to provide a safer and superior product that out-performs other brands.
